The Mezzanine is Coming DOWN!
/The demolition work continues as we clear out space in the building for our desired open floor plan. The front end of the building used to be managers offices, auto parts supply window and the stairway down to the basement (aka future barrel room) so now we need to deconstruct it and figure out how to take it down! First things first those glass plated windows are outta here and then that ever so popular wood paneling.
This project would require multiple dumpsters, removal of insulation, carpet, wood posts, walls, lights, glass and our favorite the flooring!
We unearthed this amazing flooring, stacked 1930's 2x4's and just couldn't get ourselves to put it out on the magic corner (I'll explain that later). In coming up with ways to utilize the flooring we removed it very carefully in large rectangle pieces and will be making tables out of the materials for our tasting room!
