OGG Kitchen Report Day 7
/Time: 8:40 PM
Date: November 25th 2020
Temperature: 67 degrees in kitchen and 850 degrees in oven
Mood: not bad
Historically we are usually closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during Thanksgiving week. Due to circumstances out of our control we decided to ask the staff if they wanted to rock a limited menu on Wednesday to do two things. One, get the staff more hours. Second, they wanted to make sure the hard working people of Pendleton were fed on the eve of Thanksgiving. Mission Accomplished!
Fun part about not having a full menu available allows our staff to research other possible menu items. Bailey Brooks sent a message out to our group about Pizza Sticks and how she needed them in her life. This sparked a flurry of pizza themed creativity everyone in the kitchen. The pizza empanadas and the cast iron Stromboli were fan favorites. Cass even made cinnamon and sugar fried pizza dough bites.
The day went smoothly and we sent out a good amount of pizzas, salads, and tower of power nachos. Ryan had time to teach ben the finer points of stretching pizza dough today and he picked it up pretty quickly. Keep practicing Ben!
We are continually thankful for you Pendleton and your continues support of our staff and business. We are back at it on Friday with normal hours etc. See you soon!
Thank You,
OGG STAFF
